PINK UNICORN'S MAGICAL DAY
Pink Unicorn's Magical Day is a children's book written by Nicole Hughes and illustrated by Chris Ams to help support the mission of the Beacon Unicorn Fund - a fund that offers micro-grant financial assistance to those within the Beacon, NY community experiencing hardship.
The story is about a joyful unicorn who wakes up to the first signs of spring and sets off through town on a mission: to turn frowns into smiles and share kindness with everyone he meets. With a rainbow mane and a heart full of joy, Pink Unicorn lifts spirits all along Main Street—from cheering up busy grown-ups to starting sidewalk dance parties and handing out magical surprises.
Featuring 38 original hand-painted illustrations, this colorful tale of community and compassion is inspired by the late David Shelly, the beloved “Pink Unicorn of Beacon,” whose real-life acts of kindness brought joy to an entire town.

The story follows a young girl named Naomi and her father, Ryley, who live in a futuristic version of Beacon, NY, which has become isolated due to the effects of climate change.
